| Aurora, IL - I was driving my car until my brake pads wore out after sunday church service. I realized it had to be fixed as I applied my brakes and the noise of metal screeched. No doubt my brake pads wore out and the contact of metal to metal got louder every time I applied my brakes.
I was worried because I needed the car fixed and was on a tight budget. I went home and quickly called my traditonal auto repair shops asking how much would it cost to replace the front brake pads and rotors. The response I got was between $350 - $700. Yikes! in this economy, thats a lot of money to take off the table ... I had to look at Plan B.
